Chromeo Detail 'More Collaborative' Forthcoming Album at 2017 Air + Style Fest
Chromeo's most-recent album, 2014's vintage-tinged White Women, featured impressive guests like Solange, Ezra Koenig, and Toro y Moi, but the electro-funk duo say their next record is looking to be even more collaborative.
"It's the first record we've made out in L.A., so maybe that will influence it," the band's David "Dave 1" Macklovitch tells Fuse on the ground at Shaun White's Air + Style Festival. "Now, we're at the stage where we can collaborate with new-school people and legends. This is what this next record is going to try to do: Bridge people from now we really love and people we grew up listening to or look up to."
Watch above for more information about the next LP, which the duo say they have about another year of work on, why they think their music pairs well with snowboarding, and more.
