Shaun White’s Air + Style Festival is going down for the third consecutive year in Los Angeles on Feb. 18 and 19, and the legendary snowboarder stopped by Fuse to give a little insight of what to expect from his big event.
After buying the festival from its original Austrian owner, White transformed Air + Style into his own unique creation that melds sports with artists' performances. "You got the snowboarding going on and during your break you get to watch the music. Then the sun starts setting...it really makes for a spectacular setting," White explains.
He goes on to say how music is a key component because "it represents the culture behind the sport." Acts like Major Lazer, Flume, Vince Staples, Chromeo, Atmosphere, YG, Vic Mensa and TV on the Radio are set to take the stage this weekend at Downtown LA's Expo Park.
Stay tuned for all of Fuse's on-the-ground coverage from Shaun White's Air + Style Festival 2017. Tickets are still available.
