Yes, Shaun White's Air + Style fest has a killer music lineup, great festival food and tons of things to do, but what really makes it stand out from other fests is its famous, 16-story, snow-covered jump that the world's greatest snowboarders attempt to conquer. Fuse caught up with the Air + Style creator to talk about the significance of the festival's signature fixture.
"It's one of those things where if you got the guts to try it, you feel confident and you make it— that's something that could take you from an average rider to winning the contest," the Olympic winner explains. "Some of these guys weren't really anybody until they started landing these tricks, winning contests, and now they're household names."
Watch the full interview above for more from White including the types of tricks you'll see on the jump, an explanation of Air + Style's name and more.
