In honor of the 20th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.'s untimely death, Fuse revisits a 2012 episode of Rap Report that took fans to Biggie's very own neighborhood of Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
Host Esteban Serrano explained why the New York legend was the greatest to ever do it. "Biggie had the most appeal of any MC ever, no matter what type of listener you were...It made him the first credible hip-hop household name."
Along with creating a blueprint for those who followed in his footsteps, Biggie also ushered in a new style of hip-hop that put the East Coast back on the map.
"There would be no fly, flashy, high-end luxury MC without Big Poppa," Serrano said simply.
