We are thrilled to announce the lineup for the ALMAs 2018, the biggest awards show honoring the contributions of Latinx artists, creatives, entertainers, and influencers who are paving the way, whether it’s in politics or entertainment—all under the theme, This Is Our America!
Actor, producer, and activist Wilmer Valderrama will be headlining the live event, and this year’s honorees include actress and philanthropist Eva Longoria along with the cast of the groundbreaking television show Jane the Virgin, including actors Jaime Camil and Andrea Navedo. The ALMAs will also be honoring two young activists whose work has been instrumental in driving progress in America: Parkland survivor and anti-gun violence advocate Samantha Fuentes and climate change activist Jamie Margolin.
Along with celebrating those fighting for Our America, the ALMAs will feature live performances from Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke, Miami’s very own Amara La Negra, and of course our house DJ, radio star and host of the new series, What’s Ur Thing, Cipha Sounds!
The biggest party of the year is just around the corner—don’t forget to tune in Sunday, November 4, at 8pm EST/5pm PST, and party with stars committed to a better future. After all, This Is Our America!
