Bobby Brown On Whitney Houston Tribute: "Don't Let Me Die"
Bobby Brown's been pretty busy since Whitney Houston died at age 48 earlier this year: he's been arrested for DUI, he's done bigger interviews than he'd done in decades, and he's been shopping his biopic. Brown popped up again last night (May 17) with "Don't Let Me Die," a new song debuted on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno about Houston. TMZ grabbed the performance footage.
In the clip above, Bobby sings, "I didn’t realize that every breath I took was from you/You were my air.” He continues, "I guess I messed up pretty bad/I didn’t know who you were/I didn’t know what we had/Now I’m stuck living in the past/trying to get the pieces back/but I guess now you’re gone."
The song is from The Masterpiece, Bobby Brown's first album in 15 years. Let us know if you're excited for it in the comments!
