NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 14: Lady Gaga and Madonna attend the Marc Jacobs 2010 Spring Fashion Show at the NY State Armory on Sept

Remember that suspiciously familiar melody in Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" that sounded more than a wee bit like Madonna's "Express Yourself"? Yeah... so does Madge, who issued Gaga a very public noogie over the weekend. After simultaneously praising and insulting Gaga (yet again), Her Madgesty moved on to promising (threatening?) to share the stage with Lady G "very soon."

"I'm going to dedicate this next song ['Masterpiece'] to Lady Gaga," Madonna told the Atlantic City crowd on Saturday night. "Because you know something? I love her. I love her. I do love her. Imitation is the highest form of flattery." Uh-oh. Elton John is NOT going to be happy about that backhanded comment.

"One day, very soon, we're going to be onstage together," Madonna continued [check it out around the six-minute mark in the video below]. "You think I'm kidding? I'm not Lady Gaga."

While I have no idea what that last part means—is Gaga a famous serial kidder, never delivering on promised collabos?—I am extremely curious to see what comes of this ominous promise. Will Mother Monster and the mother of two duet on a song? Present an award together? Or perhaps this is all a lead-in to Madonna burning Gaga in effigy. Stay tuned!
