LOS ANGELES, CA - OCTOBER 02: Recording artist Nelly speaks during CW's "The Next" Taping at The Orpheum Theatre on October 2

After Texas police found marijuana, heroin and a gun on Nelly's tour bus yesterday, the "Country Grammar" rapper is claiming he didn't know about any of the contraband in the vehicle.

Nelly told TMZ (via NME), "It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning. Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials did not press charges against anyone other than that individual." Elegantly stated, Nelly. Golf clap.

Nelly's bus was searched in Sierra Blanca, the same town where Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, and most recently, Fiona Apple have all been busted for drugs previously. Being a rock star and getting arrested for drugs seem to go hand-in-hand—ask these people.
