At the 2008 election of President Obama, Jay-Z performed his song "99 Problems" to a crowd made up of  young staffers who worked on the Obama campaign. This year staffers may get a special private performance by Lady Gaga.

A person familiar with the inauguration said the pop star will perform at Tuesday's ball for White House staffers. The source spoke on the condition of anonymity because that person wasn't authorized to publicly reveal the information, Billboard reports.

If Lady Gaga is confirmed, she will be just one of many artists scheduled to perform during President Obama’s Inauguration, joining Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Usher, fun., Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor.
