5 Seconds of Summer haven't had the easiest time at televised award shows (guitarist Michael Clifford face-planted within twenty songs of their first song at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards last month), but it looks like the cards have turned in their favor. The guys delivered a spot-on performance of their latest Sounds Good Feels Good single, "Hey Everybody!" at the 2015 American Music Awards on Sunday night (Nov. 22).

During the performance, 5SOS delivered guitar firepower and stage energy during a straightforward but effective pop-punk showcase. In particular, Clifford looked like he was having the time of his life; the boys' pals in Walk The Moon were shown head-banging in the audience, in unison with the guitarist.

5 Seconds of Summer aren't up for any awards at this year's AMAs, but it's all good: Their set was great and they've got a couple No. 1 records under their belts. Not bad for a band that can't even drink legally in this country.
