One of the best aspects of being a One Direction fan is that the boy band usually lets us in on their whereabouts—they don't have to be as open and honest as they are, but they do it because they love us. It's also one of the worst characteristics—it can begin to feel like 1D has an obligation to share their private lives with the world, and that's totally unfair. It's important to know where the line should be drawn.

Last night, Niall Horan of the group revealed on Twitter that a bunch of fans managed to locate his phone number and have been sending him incessant messages in a group chat. The worst part? They're abusive texts.

This, my friends, is where the line should be drawn! Read the rather distressing tweets below—and leave the poor guy alone, huh?
