At the end of May, it was announced that the X-Men spinoff Legion will air on FX Networks.

While at San Diego Comic Con 216, Marvel unveiled a number of previews for upcoming projects. Among the teaser clips came the trailer for Legion, helmed by Fargo creator Noah Hawley.

The first trailer for Legion introduces Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens' portrayal of David Haller, a schizophrenic man who also has mutant abilities. In Marvel lore, Haller is the child of the X-Men’s Professor Charles Xavier. The eight-episode series also features performances from Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Rachel Keller, among others.

Legion is a joint project from FX Productions and Marvel Television. Legion will be broadcast in early 2017.
