Transformers 5, subtitled The Last Knight, is the first of three new sequels that'll start coming in 2017. And big No. 5 is getting its first trailer today, more than seven months ahead of its June 23, 2017 release date.

The trailer was teased on the Transformers Twitter, which simultaneously celebrated the end of filming with some behind-the-scenes shots. Hopefully you're sitting down for this part, but: there are gonna be a lot of explosions and expensive things being destroyed. And, reminder, 78-year-old Anthony Hopkins, fresh off his big role on HBO's Westworld!

The last thing we learned about Transformers 5—er, sorry, The Last Knight—was that it will feature King Arthur and...Nazis. The World War II ones, not these dicks who've been emboldened by this nightmare of a year we've had.

After The Last Knight, Transformers 6 will arrive on June 8, 2018, and the seven-quel hits on June 28, 2019. Transformers 8 is a go, but no date yet. Maybe the robots will need a year off by then. The saga launched in 2007.
