De-Auto-Tuned T-Pain Sings the National Anthem for Dodger Stadium

Wait, though: Why was our anthem never replaced with "I'm on a Boat"?

T-Pain hit the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night to tear up the National Anthem. The 29-year-old behind "Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin')" recently blew minds by doing an NPR Tiny Desk concert sans Auto-Tune. ("I don't wanna say it feels good to, you know, prove people wrong, but....yeeeeaaaah!" T-Pain told Fuse at the time, breaking into triumphant laughter.)

Yup: T-Pain's got a killer voice, and he ain't afraid to show it to a packed stadium. Watch the clip above; the "land of the free" moment is too good.

T-Pain's next album, Stoicville: The Phoenix, potentially due this fall, will be his first since 2011's Revolver.

Other awesome 2015 renditions of the National Anthem have come from Metallica (guitar duet style) and Ciara, whose performance was #controversial.
