Snoop Dogg Calls Hip-Hop 'The Biggest Thing in the World'

The rapper discusses the rise of hip-hop stories in mainstream film and why the genre is so important

On tonight's all-new SKEE TV, Long Beach native and West Coast legend Snoop Dogg stops by the studio. Along with discussing his move from Converse to Adidas, the rapper also gives his take on hip-hop stories hitting mainstream audiences via films like Straight Outta Compton.

"Hip-hop is the biggest thing in the world...People in different countries don't speak English, but they speak hip-hop. We're doing so much greatness for music and for life in general," Snoop tells DJ SKEE.

Citing the genre's importance in Dennis Rodman's famous visit to North Korea, Snoop points out that Kim Jong-un loved '90s hip-hop. Despite differences in political views, Kim and Rodman were still able to connect through hip-hop culture.
