Blink-182 to Release New Songs by the Holidays
“We’re releasing some new Blink-182 songs in a few weeks. Watch this space,” bassist Mark Hoppus tweeted late last week. While guitarist and vocalist Tom Delonge added “New Blink EP for x mas... :)” on his Twitter page.
Yup, we’re officially stoked.
After separating from Interscope Records, with a contract that spans 15 years, and reuniting last year on Neighborhoods, the San Diego trio are an independent band and are finally releasing some new tracks.
We reported this fall that the pop-punk band would release a full album next year and that’s still the case. Getting a few tunes earlier is an added bonus.
"We're going to write through the end of this year and the beginning of next year, and start recording for real with quotes around 'for real' in February after we get back from going to Australia for the tour there," Hoppus recently told the L.A. radio station KROQ.
