Hype for the new Ghostbusters movie—the good, bad an ugly—is reaching a fever pitch. While director Paul Feig and his cast of female stars have caught a great deal of flack, the remaining members of the original Ghostbusters crew have been very supportive of the film, which is shaking up gender bias in Hollywood.
And they've got an even bigger reason to rejoice now, given the unveiling of a modernized Ecto-1—the vehicle that Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy will use to drive around New York City. The film today unveiled a look at the revamped Ecto-1 with Entertainment Weekly, which you can ogle in the video above.
Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson are quite stoked about the forthcoming remake, so much so that they've been hanging out with the new cast. Feig shared a photo of the two groups together today, celebrating Ghostbusters Day—along with theme song writer Ray Parker Jr., who takes the selfie shot. It looked like a real good time. Needless to say the crew is partying before the film releases July 15.
