We've been hanging onto Swedish pop star Zara Larsson for a while (hello! she was one of our Fuse First artists!), and with the success of "Lush Life" and the inescapable "Never Forget You" with MNEK, it's time that this girl gets an album for U.S. consumption.
On Wednesday, the singer posted about her new proposed release date for her second studio album (expected to be her breakout Stateside), making a jab at how long it's been since first single "Lush Life" was released (June 2015):
Albums coming out January 2017. Not 2016. I've scammed you all! pic.twitter.com/8tV8PSdI0L— Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) October 26, 2016
Nice Joanne the Scammer reference, Zara!
This time, we have Larsson's word:
It's really, really, really, really coming out January tho. Like for reaaaal 💿💿💿💿💿💿💿💿— Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) October 26, 2016
And she even gave out, the, uh, title:
The albums called "y'all better chill. Why the hurry?" Xoxo— Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) October 26, 2016
On a serious note. Thank you so much for sticking by my side and for being so patient. I love you and I can't wait for you to listen to it— Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) October 26, 2016
