Following the numbing and gut-wrenching reveal that Donald Trump won the presidential election (click here to see the celebrity grieving), Lady Gaga headed to the Trump Tower in New York City to protest. She headed to the building in the early hours of Wednesday morning, donning all black and standing in solidarity, while holding a sign that read "Love Trumps Hate."
The pop star, who has been an avid supporter of Hillary Clinton throughout her campaign and recently called out Melania Trump, tweeted "I want to live in a #CountryOfKindess where #LoveTrumpsHate." Gaga, who attended Clinton's election party last night, met with #BlackLivesMatter activist Deray Mckesson and posted their photo together on Twitter.
"In a room full of hope, we will be heard @deray #blacklivesmatter," Gaga's caption read. "Stand up for kindness, equality, and love. Nothing will stop us.
