The last year has been an emotional roller coaster for Glee star Lea Michele, starting with the loss of her boyfriend/co-star Cory Montieth last July. But this past March, she released her debut album Louder, a collection of dance-fueled numbers and soaring ballads that showcases her voice outside of Glee covers.
"It's about a very special time of my life," she tells Fuse in the interview above. "It has some hard stuff in there but also some happy moments. More than anything, I can't wait to tour my album and perform. To get to go overseas and perform my songs in a concert setting would be so cool."
Michele also opens up about her new food and lifestyle book Brunette Ambition as well as working with acclaimed pop musician Sia. "I really put a lot of time in it, taking my weekends to write it," she says of the book's subject matter. "I really put things in my book that I live on a daily basis. I'm not just saying that."
