Margot Robbie is proving that she's way more than an actress, as The Hollywood Reporter states the Aussie signed a first look deal with Warner Bros. This will allow her to develop feature films through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner.
The actress has two collaborative projects with the studio in the works: a Suicide Squad spinoff movie featuring her Harley Quinn character that she'll executive produce and an adaptation of Dean N. Jensen's Queen of the Air, where she stars as 20th-century trapeze artist Lillian Leitzel.
THR made the spinoff announcement back in May, revealing it won't only focus on Harley but other DC universe’s “female heroes and villains." Currently, there is no word of when that or Queen of the Air will be released.
This deal is the latest development in a long business relationship between Robbie and Warner Bros., after working on 2015's Focus, this year's The Legend of Tarzan and her all-star performance in August's Suicide Squad. Along with these roles, the actress will portray infamous figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya (she's also set to produce the biopic).
