Hear Sir David Attenborough's Goofy Narration of Adele's "Hello" Video

"Really? Will Adele be cross with me?"

That's Sir David Attenborough, age 89, responding to the latest Internet-perfect juxtaposition, a BBC Radio 1 request for the world famous writer/presenter to narrate Adele's record-breaking "Hello" video. Fortunately, DJ Greg James convinces him "Adele would probably love this more than anything in the whole world." And we're off.

An early sample of the tone, which would seamlessly fit the type of nature documentary Attenborough's name is synonymous with:

"Look as the world's most famous pop star zooms down a dirt track in an old Mini. Money certainly hasn't changed her. Battling against strong winds and the weight of expectation, she's convinced that now is her time to strike. She, like all pop stars, needs to hunt to survive."

We also get the joy of hearing Attenborough saying "hashtag 'flip phone.'" We wish there were better videos than this, but there just aren't.
