Brand New's Jesse Lacey Tells Crowd 'We're Done': Watch

Are they breaking up or aren't they? It seems to be the eternal question with Long Island emo favorites Brand New, who are keeping things just mysterious enough to confuse the crap out of everyone.

Thrice got back together because BN started playing shows. Brand New promised a comeback album then made it seem like they'd break up in 2018. We have no idea what the eff is going on, but now it appears the band is seriously done, as per recent comments from frontman Jesse Lacey.

Last night at Saltair in Magna, Utah, at the kickoff show of their tour with Modest Mouse, Lacey told the crowd, "Oh, we're done. Oh yeah, we're done, and it makes nights like this all the more special so thanks for being here." He then launched into the intimate "Sowing Season" from 2006's The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me.
